Youth & Adult – Recreational
Open Ballet (ages 8+)
This class meets twice per week for a total of 2 hours, 30 minutes and includes Stretch & Conditioning.
Open Ballet is intended for children ages 8 1/2 and up who wish to study ballet recreationally. No audition is required. This class is designed to introduce basic ballet skills to enhance posture, strength, and flexibility for students who are beginners and students who are returning to dance after a significant break.
Intermediate Recreational Contemporary (ages 8+)
This class meets once per week for a total of 1 hour
Intermediate Recreational Contemporary is intended for children ages 8 1/2 and up, who wish to study Contemporary Dance recreationally. No audition is required. This class is designed to enhance creative thinking and expression, develop new physical skills, and expose dancers to a wide array of different movements.
Teen & Adult Ballet
The teen and adult classes offer the art of dance for beginners through intermediate and advanced levels. Whether the student is a teen, an adult beginner or is looking to return to dance, they will enjoy the many benefits of ballet which include improving posture and poise, sculpting and toning long, lean muscle, and helping to relieve stress. Attending ballet classes regularly will also enhance overall physical fitness, increase flexibility, strength, and balance.
