About The Company
The Ballet Conservatory Company was formed in 2005 to provide performing opportunities for serious dancers and is an integral part of the training at Ballet Conservatory. The Company performs multiple times a year, in addition to numerous community outreach events.
The Ballet Conservatory provides a rehearsal process and performance experiences that complete your training, taking what you learn in the studio to the stage. Our performances feature an extensive repertoire by recognized choreographers, ranging from full-length classical ballets to new works. As a Company member, you will have the opportunity to work with nationally recognized choreographers and dance alongside professional ballet dancers.
All Ballet Conservatory Advanced and some Intermediate Division students may audition to be a part of the Ballet Conservatory Company. Dancers must be at least 10 years old by the audition date and be in Ballet II and up to be eligible for company membership. Audition classes are scheduled at the beginning of each performance season, but individual audition classes may be scheduled throughout the year. The company consists of three levels – Trainee, Junior, and Senior. The Artistic Director will place dancers in the appropriate level. See the performance section to preview the upcoming performances.
