Since 2005, the Ballet Conservatory has been committed to providing performance opportunities. We want to ignite a passion for live performance by introducing the most captivating and exciting ballets. From the classic story ballet to original contemporary works, the Conservatory has an extensive repertoire by nationally recognized choreographers.

This season, the Ballet Conservatory will present a fall and spring performances, each designed to delight audiences of all ages.


November 2, 2018
Lila Cockrell Theatre

The Ballet Conservatory will begin the 2018-2019 season on Friday, November 2 with the beloved production of Coppélia.  This magical story is brought to life by the skilled and elegant Ballet Conservatory Company and Academy dancers, as well as guest artist Luis Javier Corrales, soloist with Ballet San Antonio.   Coppélia is a delightful tale of mischief, mistaken identities and an eccentric doll maker. It is a lively and amusing story ballet that provides entertainment for the entire family.

Tickets are $29 for Adults and $17 for children 12 and under, and are available on or at the Alamodome Box Office.

In continuation of our outreach program, the Ballet Conservatory will be hosting San Antonio Title 1 students for a special free performance at 10am on Friday.

A Magical Toyland Event

Kick off the holidays with a magical event, filled with sweets, treats, and a special performance by the Ballet Conservatory, celebrating our favorite toy themed ballets.

Activities include: cookie decoration, creativity space with San Antonio Plastic Bricks, face painting, prizes, performances from Coppélia and Nutcracker, and desserts for all!

This event is for children 3 – 12 years old.  All children need to be accompanied by a parent(s) or responsible adult.  All participants need to purchase a ticket to attend.

End of Year Academy Performance

The Ballet Conservatory’s end of year academy performance is always one that will delight the entire family.  Each year, the Ballet Conservatory incorporates the entire academy to produce a spectacular ballet that highlights the accomplishments of each student and their class.  This year, the Ballet Conservatory will be presenting Sleeping Beauty.

The Ballet Conservatory invites you and your family to join us on Sunday, June 4, 2019 at the  Laurie Auditorium, Trinity University to enjoy a truly magical ballet experience.
