Performances

Since 2005, the Ballet Conservatory has been committed to providing performance opportunities. We want to ignite a passion for live performance by introducing the most captivating and exciting ballets. From the classic story ballet to original contemporary works, the Conservatory has an extensive repertoire by nationally recognized choreographers.

This season, the Ballet Conservatory will present a fall and two spring performances, each designed to delight audiences of all ages.

Fancy Nancy and the Mermaid Ballet

October 20 and 21, 2017
Laurie Auditorium, Trinity University

The Ballet Conservatory will begin the 2017-2018 season on Friday, October 20th with a very special production of Fancy Nancy and the Mermaid Ballet, based on the popular children’s book written by Jane O’Connor, and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser.

As a continuation of our outreach program, the Ballet Conservatory will again be partnering with SAReads, a project of Literacy San Antonio, Inc., to help host a book drive during the October 21st performance. For all ticketed guests, if they bring a new children’s book to donate to the SAReads Book Bank, they will receive a “fancy” surprise.
