Since 2005, the Ballet Conservatory has been committed to providing performance opportunities. We want to ignite a passion for live performance by introducing the most captivating and exciting ballets. From the classic story ballet to original contemporary works, the Conservatory has an extensive repertoire by nationally recognized choreographers.

This season, the Ballet Conservatory will present a fall and two spring performances, each designed to delight audiences of all ages.

Fancy Nancy

November 5, 2016
Laurie Auditorium, Trinity University

The Ballet Conservatory will begin the 2016-2017 season on Friday, November 4, and Saturday, November 5 with two exciting new productions. The family-oriented program will feature a company premiere of Fancy Nancy: Bonjour, Butterfly, based on the bestselling storybook by Jane O’Connor, and a ballet classic, Carnival of the Animals. These magical story ballets are brought to life with enthusiastic dancing by the Ballet Conservatory company members, and will delight children of all ages

To help give back to the community, the Ballet Conservatory is thrilled to be partnering with SAReads, a project of Literacy San Antonio, Inc., to help host a book drive during the November 5th performance. For all ticketed guests, if they bring a children’s book to donate to the SAReads Book Bank, they will receive a “fancy” surprise!
